Today will go down in history as not only the day the N.Y. Giants won Superbowl 42 but the day my wife passed her Technician exam. Getting to the VE session involved quite a bit of travelling as I had to travel from work for 1 hour 20 minutes, pick my wife up at the house and then travel for another 30 minutes to the VE session.
I think I was more nervous than her but then I had to sit around while she took the test, and then again while the test was scored. Unlike when I got my Novice license, and waited 30 days for my ticket to arrive, she should have a callsign by sometime next week. Then we'll brush up on operating practices as a new Ham hits the air waves.
