G5400B to be Replaced
After replacing the fuse on the G5400B I was able to lower elevation as seen in the picture at left without a problem. However when I went to move the antennas in azimuth (clockwise) the fuse popped immediately. Putting another fuse in and the antennas won't move counter-clockwise. After doing some searching I realized that pulling the rotor apart is beyond my mechanical expertise. If anyone is interested in a Yaesu G5400B fixer upper let me know! I'll be replacing it with the newer Yaesu G5500. This just seems to be the year for rotor issues at my qth!
