So far this has been a pretty good weekend. Yesterday I did some re-wiring in the shack and now have both my HF and Satellite rigs running through my NCS Multi-Switcher.
This morning I worked Dick WA2EHL via VO-52. Not having been on the birds since this time last year I lost my signal as the satellite went overhead on a 73 degree elevation pass. Managed to find myself again, heard Dick once more and then he was gone. Nonetheless it was an enjoyable QSO with Dick.
Spent the latter half of the morning installing the HF antenna on the Car. That went smoothly and its tuning nicely on 10-80 meters. 6 Meters is good but will require changing the whip from the DX-Engineering Hot Rodz to the stock whip for the High Sierra Sidekick.
