Novra S-300 Noaaport Receiver

This week I installed a new Noaaport satellite receiver. This is the Novra S300. If the current plan holds, next week NOAA will begin the testing/dual illumination period of the DVB-S2 signal. The switch from DVB to DVB-S2 was the reason a new receiver was needed. (The current receiver had only been in use for about a year). Anyway the unit arrived early Tuesday morning and I had it swapped out and running in less than 15 minutes. Seems to be working well with the DVB signal and looking forward to seeing how it works with the DVB-S2 signal. A few products (hourly observations, radar, satellite images) from the Noaaport stream are being used on both norwalkweather.com and ctskywarn.com. Check it out!
