Tower Maintenance Update

I had a good friend stop by this week and I have made some headway regarding getting the antennas off the tower. Unlike the last time the support cabling was changed this time I'll need to take just about all the antennas off. I have a support mount for the inverted vee that I bought some years ago and with the tower laying down now will be the time to finally install it. I may also need to replace or repair the rotor, that was what clued me into the cabling problem in the first place. Lastly I will hold off until after Labor Day as its just too darn hot and humid here on the CT coast! With any luck maybe HF will be in business in time for the October contests!
