Made alot of good progress this week with the Noaaport server. I switched to a faster machine and Jose Nieves the author of the NBSP software suite made some extraordinary improvements this week with more products coming through and just a ever so slight fraction of missing products...on the order of about 2 products in 24 hours.
This week I hope to be installing a new workstation for Gempak and then the 2nd biggest project of the summer....tearing all the gear out of the shack, moving some furniture around and re-wiring. In between all that I hope to get the antennas off the tower and the support cables replaced. Hopefully I'm on track to be on the air before the snow flies!

I thought I'd have lots of news now that I have switched over to the DVB-S2 feed for Noaaport. Working out a few bugs here and there particularly with the way the servers are networked together. Once I get those squared away, I'll have plenty to write and alot of pictures to post.
Enjoy Field Day weekend!
