It's been way too long since I last posted but frankly I didn't have much going on worth posting about!
I finally have my Noaaport system running pretty well using Freebsd with NBSP. I would never have gotten the server configured properly with Freebsd without the help of Jose Nieves who wrote the NBSP software. It took about 2 weeks during my spare time (and my wife will attest to the fact that I was pounding on the keyboard almost every waking moment)! I have good signal and I'm ingesting everything coming down from the satellite. For now I'm just feeding some text products to the CT Skywarn page but hope to get satellite images on the site soon. I still have a lot to learn as NBSP has lots to offer!
