Antenna Tweaking
I haven't had much to write about lately. However today was a relatively mild day with plenty of sunshine and that gave me a brief opportunity to head out to the Dish farm. I have been having a slight problem with one of my Ku antennas where I wasn't able to pull a good signal on the horizontal polarity. Well I went out today with my handheld satellite meter and of course saw a very low signal. Touched the arm that holds the LNB and the signal increased. Turned out to be a very easy fix in that the bolts holding the LNB to the arm were ever so slightly lose but enough to swing the LNB out of the main lobe on the satellite. I like easy fixes like that!
