A labor intensive Labor Day Weekend

Well I did manage to complete this before the 1st snow!  Certainly no snow this  Labor Day weekend. It was warm and muggy but not too bad to replace the tower support cables. Most importantly was the manpower! In the accompanying picture my two helpers are installing one of the 4 new cables that support the tower when upright. On the side watching is my beautiful wife Leigh and our dog Daisy. The job was spread over two days and was not easy as the antennas and to be skewed as the tower was lowered and then moved to the side. Now that the antennas are back I am working on a high SWR issue that is showing up on all antennas. Hopefully this is just a bad cable in the shack!

This just in...It was a bad patch cable! At least I know I don't need to start climbing around on the tower checking cables.
