Just received my C/Ku Dual Orthomode feedhorn for the 10ft Sami Dish. This will have two LNB's for each band (Vertical and Horizontal) allowing each receiver to independantly access both polarities on a satellite. I'm hoping to have this in place by next week and then get the radio room ready for some HF fun !
I managed to get a start on this project. The cables have been pulled from the dish through the conduit into the house but it looks like the weather is not going to cooperate with my days off. Hoping to have the feed installed later this week!
Most of the prep work has been done, mounting switches and power inserters that will be in the house. I also started making jumper cables to go between the various switches and receivers. Next up is to mount the 4 LNB's to the feedhorn and weather permitting mount the feed on the antenna !
