Tough choice this year. Whether to head to Hamvention or see the last launch of space shuttle Atlantis. The XYL and I decided for the latter and were present to see Atlantis lift-off at 2:20 P.M. on Friday May 14 2010. We weren't quite as close as this picture from NASA but 12 miles away wasn't bad. WX1LDB was particularly impressed by the sound as the Shuttle climbed high into the sky. If vacation plans don't get in the way we hope to head back to Dayton in 2011.
