Ku Dish Farm

With Spring finally here I have started a project that I have been waiting on all winter.

That is planting a few poles to permanently mount the small Ku antennas and move them from the present location on the patio. I should have the poles this week and I'm hoping by next week to get all 3 Ku antennas mounted in the new location. Also in the works is a ground mounted C-Band antenna to replace the Paraclipse on the roof. Toughest part with that is digging through all the rock in the yard. I need to get down about 3 feet for the "Big Dish". It will be great to finally have a dish on the ground where I can experiment to my heart's content without doing the "High Wire Act" on the roof.

Today I moved the first of the Ku Antenna's to its new home. Hope to take some pictures shortly and post them here.

I'm still working out the best location for a C-Band antenna. I have a spot and just want to verify what I can see from that location with one of the 90cm Ku motorized antennas.

More to come....
